Today we get a first look.The adidas NMD R2 Primeknit is the latest Boost model to receive the all-Black treatment The only part of the shoe not done in Black is the exposed Boost noted under the shoe. As far as the rest of the shoe goes, the Primeknit upper, laces, EVA inserts on the midsole, the Boost midsole, rubber outsole, pull tabs, branding and lining all come in a Black colorway. Very low maintenance, very versatile, very clean. No release date yet, but as soon as one is announced we will be sure to let you know. In regards to the upper, the knit construction comes with new features such as the new alignment of the lace loops, a new look heel counter resulting in a more streamlined look, a sock-like collar and a heel pull tab. The minimal aesthetics of the shoe make it much easier to wear on a daily basis. The shoe features Primeknit all throughout the upper, which isn t anything new for the Stan Smith, but eliminates the use of laces.
The shoe has a bootie construction paired up with the original Stan Smith sole unit.
